In today’s world, there is a great deal of uncertainty. We all face it each day, but we have a choice. We can choose to have a thankful heart for the good things in this world during and after Thanksgiving or we can choose to be bitter for the rest of the year.

Which will you choose to be?

There are several ways that you can make the choice to be thankful.

  • Surround yourself with others who have a thankful heart!

Though approaching God is a wonderful way to choose to be thankful,               you can also surround yourself with others who have a thankful heart.  Many times, the company that we keep tends to have a big influence upon the attitudes and choices that we make.

  • Be intentional about how you spend your time.

Finally, in order to choose to be thankful be intentional about how you spend your time. Spend your time doing things that are good and worthy things to spend time your time on, including helping others especially those that are less fortunate than you. This can really open one’s eyes to the truth that they have so much to be grateful for even when they aren’t able to see it at first.
